Tree removal, trimming, stump grinding & emergency storm cleanup in Sadler, Texas: the US 82 freeway corridor, the old MKT rail line, and the farm roads of western Grayson County. Free estimates. Call (469) 545-0844.
Sadler is a small railroad city in western Grayson County. About 340 people live here. A. J. Cross settled the ground in 1869, and the town grew up around the Missouri, Kansas and Texas line in 1878, when John Sadler, the town's namesake, donated land for the right-of-way. The post office opened in 1892. US 82 runs through the south side as a freeway now: seventeen miles east to Sherman, five miles west to Whitesboro.
The tree work here is farm-and-ranch work. Big-lot houses carry old pecans, oaks, and cedar elms planted a generation or two back: steady, good trees that mostly need deadwood cleanup and clearance, not heroics. The farm roads run fence rows thick with cedar and volunteer trees. Out past town it is cattle and hay ground, with pecans along the creek bottoms. Blackland clay under all of it, the heavy soil that holds water and shifts around root zones.
We work Sadler from the highway frontage to the county roads: deadwood cleanup on the old yard trees, selective cedar clearing on fence rows and acreage, storm cleanup when spring weather crosses the open ground, and full removals with the stump ground and the property left clean. Free on-site estimates. Straight talk about what the tree needs and what it does not.

Common Tree Issues in Sadler, TX
Old Yard Trees & Pecans
Big-lot pecans and oaks from earlier generations. Deadwood cleanup, crown thinning, and honest calls on the declining ones near houses.
Fence-Row Cedar Clearing
Cedar and volunteer trees close in fence rows and field edges. Selective clearing keeps the good trees and opens the land back up.
Open-Ground Storm Cleanup
Spring storms cross the open ground between Whitesboro and Sherman and drop limbs on houses, barns, and fences. Hazard-first cleanup, then the property left clean.

Sadler Tree Service FAQs
Our old pecan drops limbs every storm. Is that normal?
Old pecans shed deadwood first. A crown cleaning usually takes care of it. If the trunk leans or the soil heaves at the base, that is an assessment, not a pruning job.
Can you clear cedar off our fence line without touching the oaks?
Yes. That is selective clearing: the cedar and brush go; the oaks, pecans, and anything worth keeping stay. Free on-site estimate to scope it.
How much does tree removal cost in Sadler, TX?
Every tree and every site is different, so we do not quote blind. Free on-site estimate: you get the exact price in writing, no obligation, before anything gets cut.
