Tree removal, trimming, stump grinding & emergency storm cleanup in Lone Oak, Texas: the US 69 corridor, lake country near Lake Tawakoni, and acreage in southeastern Hunt County. Free estimates. Call (469) 545-0844.
Lone Oak is named for the oak tree that stood alone on the prairie when settlers arrived in the 1850s. The town grew up around the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad in 1890, and US 69 still runs straight through the middle of town — northwest to Greenville, the county seat, southeast to Emory.
With about 640 people, Lone Oak is small-town Texas: acreage, ranch land, and old oaks. The tree work is country work: storm cleanup along county roads, dead trees on ranch land, old oaks that need crown cleaning, and cedar clearing on pasture. Lake Tawakoni sits a couple of miles southwest and Rolling Hills Country Club is nearby, so lake lots and golf-course homes mix in.
US 69 is the main road, with FM 513 and FM 1567 crossing in town. We work Lone Oak and the surrounding country: out to Greenville, over to Quinlan and the lake, and down the US 69 corridor. The estimate is free. The advice is straight.
